1. Deadlock A deadlock is a situation where two or more threads are waiting infinitely for each other to release the lock on the resource that they are holding. Thread T1 acquires a lock on resource R1, and thread T2 acquires a lock on resource R2. Now thread T1 needs a lock on resource R2, and thread T2 needs a lock on resource R1. In this case, among T1 and T2 no thread makes the first move and releases the lock which they already have and they both get stuck in an infinite amount of waiting t
